Grabado en Dubl\u00edn, Nueva York y Los Angeles “Songs of Experience” fue completado a comienzos de este a\u00f1o influenciado por el consejo del poeta y novelista irland\u00e9s Brendan Kennelly, que le dijo a Bono de \u201cescribir como si estuvieras muerto\u201d.<\/p>\n
El resultado es una colecci\u00f3n de canciones en la forma de mensajes \u00edntimos a personas y lugares cercanos al coraz\u00f3n del cantante: familia, amigos, fans y hasta \u00e9l mismo.<\/p>\n
El disco fue producido por Jacknife y Ryan Tedder, con Steve Lillywhite, Andy Barlow y Jolyon Thomas. El arte de la tapa es una imagen de Anton Corbijn de los hijos adolescentes de Bono (Eli Hewson) y The Edge (Sian Evans).<\/p>\n
