The Offspring sorprende al mundo con una nueva versión de “Pretty Fly”: toda la info, la letra y el video están acá!
En 1998, The Offspring, la banda de rock punk estadounidense, lanzó “Pretty Fly”.
Se trata una de las canciones que, hasta hoy, sigue siendo una de las Más exitosas. Ahora, 28 años después de su estreno, la banda estrena una nueva versión, inspirada en nuestra cumbia santafesina (y sí, hay que creérsela!).
En el repertorio de The Offspring, desde sus inicios, hay varias canciones que incluyen algunas palabras en español, algo que los fans han interpretado como respuesta a la influencia latina que existiría entre los integrantes de la banda Dexter Holland, Noodles, Todd Morse, Brandon Pretzborn y Jonah Nimoy.
Para algunos de sus fans estadounidenses, los toques en español que caracterizan a la música del grupo tienen que ver con el hecho de que son originarios de California, ciudad que comparte frontera con México, por lo que, pareciera natural que los idiomas se mezclen.
Desde el pasado 31 de julio, en las redes oficiales del grupo, The Offspring se dio a conocer el anuncio de la nueva versión de “Pretty fly“, la cual incluye sonidos de cumbia electrónica, mezclados por el DJ y productor mexicoamericano 8onthebeat Mix.
Las reacciones de sus fans, especialmente los provenientes de nuestro país, han generado comentarios de gran ingenio.
