Como ya hizo con el estreno del videoclip de ‘Satellite’, parece que Harry Styles ha querido recuperar en esta temporada más canciones de ‘Harry’s House’.
Y esta vez le ha tocado a ‘Daylight’, canción a la que le ha dado un vídeo que, a simple vista, poco tiene que ver con el tema.
‘Daylight’ es una balada que comienza muy tranquila, pero a medida que avanza, va ganando fuerza. Algo así pasa en el videoclip.
El escenario está ambientado en un circo y empieza cuando Harry baja de unas escaleras que vienen directamente del cielo. Tiene sentido que cuando llega abajo, cante:
“Estoy en el tejado / Tú estás en el asiento del avión”.
Mientras se da un paseo por el circo (que parece que es suyo), va uniéndose a las actividades de todo el personal: bailarinas, trapecistas, lanzadoras de cuchillos, payasas, forzudas y más. Inclusive es propulsado desde un cañón vestido de pájaro.
Probablemente sea una referencia al verso de «If I was a bluebird, I would fly to you». Y cuando parece que ya lo ha probado todo, hace equilibro sobre una cuerda y monta en un caballo un poco rebelde.
De hecho, la misma directora del vídeo Tanu Muiño, le reconoce al artista su talento en sus redes sociales:
“Harry, no hay nada que no puedas hacer”.
Muiño ya ha trabajado con Harry Styles en proyectos como el de ‘As It Was’ y con artistas como Cardi B, The Weeknd, Lil Nas X y Doja Cat.
